2017 Year in Review
Happy New Year! And what a year 2017 was. Most of us will agree it was incredibly challenging, and the news ran the gamut of awful to horrifying.
But in our resistance, we still must find moments of joy and happiness. And I was so fortunate to work with so many couples who shared my beliefs and commitment to social justice, and who shared their love with their family and friends. I was able to capture the love between so many special couples, and donate to organizations that are dear to my heart, including Planned Parenthood, ACLU and Black Lives Matter. I had weddings at City Hall, Central Park, East Village, Long Island, the Hamptons, Jersey Shore, and Canada. I grew as a photographer and made some wonderful like-minded friends in the industry.
I cannot wait to see what this new year brings. This photo of one of my favorite brides Tamara sums up how I hope 2018 goes.
